The Sweet Fruit Of A Fiat
How sweet that my simple “yes” to God, brought about such a great friendship and the sweet fruit of marriage. All things are intertwined and connected within God’s perfect plan.
What an absolutely beautiful weekend being my best friend Gabrielle’s Maid of Honor! The fruit of The Holy Spirit, joy was present, and overflowing. The Nuptial Mass was stunningly beautiful, and the wedding festivities were filled with joy.

I met Gabrielle on Instagram. She also had a Catholic Instagram like myself, and we connected over both going on pilgrimages to The Holy Land. One day, I saw she was posting pictures of my home city, so I invited her to come to my church; where she inevitably ended up meeting Johnny, her now husband in line for confession. See one of my previous newsletters, "The Rite of Betrothal" in which I discuss being the witness to Gabrielle and Johnny’s Betrothal ceremony.
The Beautiful Bride and I
In 2019 I had a profound encounter with Christ in The Holy Land at Saint Peter’s Primacy; which is where Jesus told Peter “Go Feed My Sheep.” At the time I was pursuing a secular career in on-camera hosting, acting, and being a news anchor. We were having mass outside overlooking the Sea of Galilee, and I had just received Holy Communion and was kneeling down when the most beautiful feeling I’ve ever felt in my life washed over me; a feeling of pure love and pure bliss. I like to say that in one moment the beauty of Heaven overpowered the world for me, and I felt Christ calling me to “Go feed my sheep” and begin evangelizing to help souls. At that moment I decided to quit worldly pursuits and begin creating Catholic content on social media.
My “yes” my fiat, to answering God’s call to evangelize led me to meet Gabrielle, and thus ultimately ended up bringing Johnny and Gabrielle together.
The joyful “just married” moment
On the day of their wedding, I finished a 33-day consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the triumph of Her Immaculate Heart. Our Blessed Mother’s “fiat” her “yes” to God brought about our salvation. How sweet that my simple “yes” to God, brought about such a great friendship and the sweet fruit of marriage. All things are intertwined and connected within God’s perfect plan.
A moment of prayer after giving flowers to The Blessed Mother
Marriage is a Sacrament with great graces attached to it. I as maid of honor received an overflow of joy and grace, at their wedding. I felt The Lord smiling upon my soul, saying, “See what just one simple yes can do? Bring about such great beauty.” These are some of the most beautiful and joyful times in life, witnessing people you love profess their love before The Lord!
A sweet moment between Gabrielle and I
God’s calling you to trust in Him and say “yes” to His will for your life. Following in the footsteps of Our Blessed Mother, one simple “yes” to God can change lives. Fiat Lord, let Your will be done.
I want to take a moment to highlight the ethereal beauty of the Traditional Latin Mass. This is what a true wedding looks like; not on the beach, not in a courthouse, but in the midst of Heaven on Earth, on the altar in front of the Lord. This is true marriage, true beauty, and true grace. I pity the modern world, that has absolutely and utterly no clue what they are doing. Thanks be to God for letting us live and dwell in the truth.
Me receiving Holy Communion
“Marriage is to help married people sanctify themselves and others. For this reason they receive a special grace in the sacrament which Jesus instituted. Those who are called to the married state will, with the grace of God, find within their state everything they need to be holy.” - Saint Josemaria Escriva
