In the litany of Mary Magdalene there is a line that refers to her as a “Constant Woman” : “Wounded with the love of Christ, Most dear to the Heart of Jesus, Constant woman, Last at the Cross of Jesus, first at His tomb.” ( Taken from The Litany of Saint Mary Magdalene) In this episode I discuss what it means to be a “Constant Woman” and what living in a state of constant womanhood looks like. It is no coincidence that a woman, she who is the bearer of life, was chosen to be the first to witness and proclaim Christ rising from the dead, thus opening the portals to everlasting life. A “Constant Woman” is a woman who knows that the whole of her life is supposed to be a testament to The Resurrection.
